THE DYNAMIC DUO
Yael is no stranger to the artistic world: She partly grew up in it and has always known, since she was a kid, that she would work in Film & Fashion. Born & raised in Paris, she fell in love with the United States at 13, when she travelled to New York for the first time, and where she kept on coming at least once a year. There, she was spending most of her time with her aunt Betsy, renown fashion designer, and experienced everything first hand from designing the new collections to the runway shows.
She first wanted to be a designer as well but soon realized that shed rather work with the talents themselves. After graduating with honors from the Sorbonne University, she moved to Miami, FL, in 2003 and obtained her Bachelors in Mass Communications, majoring in Public Relations. Over the past few years, she worked on major events such as Miami Vice release party(with Jamie Foxx, Colin Farrell), the Latin Billboard Awards after-party, the South Beach Food & Wine Festival (with Chefs Emeril Lagasse, Ferran Adria, Pierre Herme) and several Miami Fashion Weeks, hosting and obtaining media coverage. A true people-person at heart, she has enjoyed being the main liaison with everyone from co-workers to celebrities or the press. Yael recently got her foot in the Film industry, her lifelong passion. She is a strong believer of the quotes: Go in the direction of your dream: Live the life youve always imagined and Shoot for the Moon: Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.
The writer Annie Dillard once said, How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our Lives and this sassy Cuban-American spends her days making sure that she is getting the most out of them. Whether giving back to the community, working in her chosen field, traveling, writing or spending time with family and friends-each day is an opportunity to embark on a new adventure.
After graduating from Barry University with a Bachelors degree in Public Relations, Angela hit the PR World with a bang; designing customized PR Campaigns for major clients and securing press in such national publications as Entrepreneur Magazine, New York Post, Restaurants & Institutions and Hotels Magazine; in local media such as Deco Drive, Miami Herald, Sun-Sentinel and the Miami New Times; and in high-profile national outlets such as Good Morning America.
For the past several years Angela has also worked backstage for both MTV Video Music Awards in Miami, the media center for Super Bowl XLI, the red carpet at Alonzo Mournings start-studded retirement party and the International Travel Trade Show Pow Wow.
An avid writer, Angela has also been published in various South Florida publications. When she isn't working in Public Relations, Angela donates her time working with charitable organizations in South Florida.
Angela was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and currently resides in Miami Beach, Florida
